Lead Sampling for Schools
For Facility Managers and Health & Safety Managers - there is a lot on your plate with lots of requirements. We want to help with that. At TCWC we have tested over 25,000 samples for schools all across Minnesota. From large school districts like Minneapolis and smaller districts such as Hibbing.
With this we bring a lot of knowledge the best methods for sampling procedures, remediation guidance, and mandated reporting to Minnesota Department of Health.
As a school administrator who has an abundance of items on your list, we’ll make lead testing easy for you to check off. Twin City Water Clinic is certified to test drinking water for lead, so you can be confident that the water your kids and staff are drinking is safe.
We work closely with environmental health and safety coordinators and environmental consulting groups. We serve public, private and charter schools as well as daycare providers.
Sample Collection
TCWC will collect samples (first draw) from each drinking water fixture, denoting all important information needed for accurate testing and reporting to the state.
You just provide the interior layout of the school and we'll do the rest!
Reporting to MDH
The Minnesota Department of Health requires specific reporting submitted to them each year. We will take care of all of the required documentation, so all there is for you is to send it!
Compliance with statute MN 121A.335
In 2017 Minnesota Legislature put in place to require schools to begin testing for lead ever 5 years. The latest update occurred in 2025. We keep up to date with all amendments to ensure our clients stay within compliance.
Precise Lead Analysis
We use technology that detects lead all the way down to parts per billion (0.0000000X).
TCWC also has a in depth Quality Control process to ensure each measurement is accurate.
