How to Order

Follow our instructions to collect your water sample(s) and bring it to our lab for testing! You can either pick up a kit from our laboratory or we'd be happy to ship you a kit that you must drop off in-person.
Total Coliform Bacteria & Nitrate are commonly required by lenders and recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for potability. MDH also recommends testing for Arsenic every 3-5 years.
Lead - Homes built before 1986 have a higher chance of having lead solder, pipes, or fixtures. If you are unsure about the age of the home or the material of the pipes, we would recommend testing for lead. Because you are unsure of the financing we recommend going with a little more comprehensive testing and for a third party to collect the water sample. This way regardless of what the financing ends up being you are good to go!
Note - some lenders have a time frame of when they want the test done (most is 90 days). So if you believe you may be 90+ days out from closing, we recommend waiting until it gets a bit closer.
