Follow our instructions to collect your water sample(s) and bring it to our lab for testing! You can either pick up a kit from our laboratory or we'd be happy to ship you a kit that you must drop off in-person.
Total Coliform Bacteria & Nitrate are commonly required by lenders and recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for potability. MDH also recommends testing for Arsenic every 3-5 years.
Lead - Homes built before 1986 have a higher chance of having lead solder, pipes, or fixtures. If you are unsure about the age of the home or the material of the pipes, we would recommend testing for lead. Manganese - Based on MDH guidelines, safe levels of manganese in drinking water are lower for infants than adults. Since you indicated you have small children at home it may be beneficial to test. Collect Yourself
Unfortunately we don't collect samples in your area. However we'd be happy to ship you a kit that you are then able to drop off. If you are in the area, you are also more than welcome to stop by a pick-up a kit!
